Job Summary:

Canning Line Operator for craft beer production

Responsibilities:

Operate beer canning line and all related line equipment;

Oversight of responsibility for the safety of all canning line activities;

Provide oversight and conduct all canning line and repacking quality assurance checks, regularly;

Provide oversight and supervision of packaging personnel;

Ensure quality is built into all elements of the canning process;

Ensure highest quality sanitation methods, processes and procedures are met and upheld on the canning line and within the canning line equipment;

Perform maintenance and repairs on all canning line equipment, as needed;

Assist in identifying, investigating and recommending company cost-saving opportunities, with a particular focus on the working / production areas;

Conduct and maintain inventory checks regularly on all packaging materials and ensure supplies are replenished at all timed;

Prepare various reports, as required;

Must be able to perform duties efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment;

Proficient multi-tasking, exceptional time management and organization skills;

Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

At least high school diploma;

At least 1 year of beer brewing production experience, required;

Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds in weight;

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and have physical ability to twist, squat, kneel and reach repeatedly throughout the day;

2 years of experience within a brewery or manufacturing environment, preferred;

Must be mechanically inclined and experience with various tools, necessary

Knowledge / passion for craft beer and the brewing industry, preferred;

Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and events as needed.

Working Hours:

Normally Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM, with occasional weekend work, when necessary.

Compensation:

Hourly pay range $18.00 - $24.00 per hour DOE, plus benefits.
